A handsome pair of side tables, likely to originate from France in the early-mid 20th C. Made from oak, these substantial and heavy tables are made in the style of Charles Dudouyt. With turning circular table tops and a "wine press" style, screw body, mounted on wooden bases. A visually striking and flexible pair of tables that work well as architectural elements, side tables or plinths. In good, used condition. The tables have general wear and a warm patination. The larger table has a large knot to the wood, and some carved out sections to the body.
